Ivan Benson entertains children and adults at Stone Mountain Park, Georgia, and manages a board governance consulting office in Atlanta. He and his wife, Monica, have been married more than 34 years and have two wonderful daughters, Suzanne and Denise. “Gus and Phil” stories originated many years ago as bedtime stories for these two little girls. Many of them are based on Ivan’s own life experiences growing up with his older brother, Ron.

Ivan taught junior high and high school kids for ten years in Tennessee, and ran a 600 acre ranch for dependent, neglected, and abused boys and girls.

He has a Bachelors degree in Bible, and a Masters degree in New Testament Greek.

Ivan is the author and creator of the "Gus and Phil" stories.
